Torrey Pines State Beach
Most of this work was done prior to moving to Ohio. From 1996 through 2000, I carried a Holga camera and a Diana clone called the Windsor up and down Torrey Pines State Beach on my walks there. Many of the images record the El Nino and La Nina changes to the shore. Halfway into this project I moved into a studio off of Carmel Valley road, part of what is known as the "Go Home" on Via Felino which allowed me to walk on a regular basis to see first hand what had been revealed the previous day was now concealed.
